What we are looking for
A Planner with 2+ years experience submitting resource consents to local authorities or processing for authorities is highly desirable.
You’ll get to work on a range of interesting projects, prepare resource consent applications, and engage with clients, councils, and other consultants. You’ll be part of a collaborative team of planners, engineers and surveyors who support each other and enjoy what they do
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare resource consent applications and manage the process through to approval.
- Collaborate with project teams and external consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Provide planning advice and solutions for land development projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to support planning applications and strategies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local planning regulations and environmental policies.
About You:
You are an experienced planner with a passion for land development and sustainability. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player
- Bachelor’s degree in Resource and Environmental Planning (or a related field).
- Two plus years experience submitting resource consents to local authorities or processing for authorities is highly desirable.
- A sound knowledge of the Resource Management Act and how it relates in a local context
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A passion to contribute to innovative land development projects.
