We’re looking for an Intermediate or Senior Civil Draughtsperson to join us in Palmerston North. This isn’t just a job where you draw lines on a screen – we want someone who understands design, thinks ahead, and collaborates well with others to bring land development projects to life.
You'll work alongside a talented crew of surveyors, engineers, and draftees to produce high-quality drawings that hit the mark – technically, practically, and on time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drafting and designing everything from roads to subdivisions – residential, rural, and beyond.
- Making sure your work meets our standards, QA processes, and project deadlines.
- Acting as a mentor to our junior draftees and helping them build their skills.
- Communicating clearly with the wider project team and clients.
- Keeping budget and project goals in mind while you work.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of civil design and draughting experience.
- Solid skills in AutoCAD 12D
- Someone who communicates clearly, works independently, and plays well with others.
- A good understanding of how design ties into project budgets and timeframes.
